Greatness “Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary safety deserve neither Liberty nor safety” - Benjamin Franklin Leon sat alone at his kitchen table, cleared from the evening meal, pondering. It had been a long many years since he had done this very thing, free time was a blatant new addition to his life, one he was still not fully aware of or fully able to utilize. The past twenty or so years of his life were now becoming a blur, a quickly fading memory. Though, what he was now doing was a quaint necessity really, he reminded himself gently, the past needing to be remembered before it is forgotten. Leon looked up for a moment, out the one large window in the room, looking out to the night sky, all the stars, all the grandeur, all the memories. He thought of his children, Jimmy and Jillian. They were young, this was now their time, this life, this world, it was now up to them. What Leon had done for them- for everyone- would not soon be forgotten. It couldn’t be forgotten, he thought, nothing in life is that static, everything moves too quickly. Sooner or later, it would all happen again, history would repeat itself and others would have to fight for themselves, others would do it all over again he knew. Will they listen to us, have they truly learned? Leon questioned himself. He began to fear for his children, then for the whole world, the planet he was now gazing upon from his dining room window, wondering if they could keep the hope of free life alive, if they would carry it on; the fight had been won twice now. Though his fears subsided as a cool nighttime breeze began to draft through the open windows of the house. He looked back down, straining his eyes at the screen of the laptop sitting on the table in front of him. He was writing, something important, something powerful, something that many people were just now beginning to truly wonder about. He was the only one who could conceivably do it right, if at all. Others had tried in the last few years but no one knew the complete extent of what really was, the intricacies and the powerful moments of understanding; they took their guesses and tried to make it work but only Leon and those who were with him through the whole ordeal knew what it really meant now. He had started writing his story in the years prior, but now he realized the need for it to be finished, to be told. He began to type furiously, the words forming in his mind rapidly, all the memories, all the reality, everything coming back to him now. There was so much to say and yet so few ways to say it, it had been a long few years in the beginning, it was not a short story, that much he knew for certain, but it was a good one, and people, he reminded himself, love a good story. He continued. * * * “Living in the past” -Leon James Nelson Some people look back on the past and are happy, some sad, and some, well, some simply survived. I’ll explain in a bit but first let it be known what and who, where the whole story starts. It was valentines day, 2012, the year that the earth was to come to an end, at least that's what all the ‘experts’ said. The whole world stood still and shook with the anticipation and fear of whatever was to come. They knew no better, and why should they? The brainwashed society that they had once condemned enticed them, dragged them in and swallowed them whole, masking everything that they once were, or could ever hope to be. They too, were stuck in the middle of the chaos and madness of such uncertain days. It was about so much more than the 2012 prediction, however. This was about freedom, democracy, life, and everything that so many once stood for; that now many simply gaze upon with wandering eyes, hoping for something better, convinced that their lives are never good enough, their ‘pursuit of happiness’ not ending happily enough for them, their liberty a willing sacrifice; they were convinced that society owed them so much more. Nothing was safe, no one was secure, the times were changing rather rapidly, too rapidly perhaps? No one could tell for certain where the current entangled mass of society was moving, nonetheless many, although not enough, knew that it was nowhere good. Anyone with more than a simple preconceived notion of life knew that it was all a lie, that the 2012 myth- among others- had been debunked a thousand ways over. Most myths and rumors and small talk, however, had yet to even settle in let alone be tossed out like yesterdays garbage. The zombie like society of America tended to plunge into the scare tactics and bias rather easily, with no persuasion or rational needed. One soft, secret whisper in a dark alley by some miserable, incoherent drunk suddenly becoming tomorrows big news, the fate of the world resting in the hands of the ignorant. The problem with all these lies and unfounded tall tales was that it was becoming few and far between to find someone who had enough free thinking spirit left in them to live above and beyond the ills of this ever evolving society, to question that around them, to take charge and stand up for what was right and true. Truth, however, lies in the eye of the beholder, and no one was willing to take a chance that their truth might in fact have been the right one. ‘What if?’ is a rather risky game to play in the real, uncensored and unprotected world of self non-control. The start of this new sadistic existence begins with the installation of fear into a whole society. The theory is simple, in order for someone in a position of power- such as a president- to control wholly an entire nation and a whole society, a group of armed, trained, and unknown men is needed to be the strong arm, the actual power behind the movement and shift towards control; all under the mask of protecting the people, saving the children, doing the right thing. They know, put it into a positive sort of light and people will lay down their lives to it, support the idea wholly; keep it hidden away and people will fight it for all it’s worth. It is now known, If such a group isn’t stopped, it will, in due time, take over wherever it can and assume control of the whole populace, all the power resting in the hands of one agency, one man, the President. However, the genesis of such a group is only phase one of the installation of fear into society. The next phase is the act of actually taking control of as much as possible, preferably everything. This will be done in the facade of something worthwhile. Everyday life will be taxed, regulated, and controlled by those in power to the point that the new government essentially holds all power in every way; nothing is said, done, or committed without its knowledge or consent. The final phase is that of conformity. Having all the power and control is great as long as all the people under those in power allow it and agree to it; sovereignty as it was originally called. Those who voice concern or disdain towards this new government need to be either converted or silenced. Many countries have explored this phase throughout the years with varying results, none of them good. A lot are revolutionized from within given enough time, its populace finally growing tired of living in such oppression, hoping for something better, remembering their past. Some find it, many do not. There were a few, a rather small faction though, that knew that this could not be allowed to happen in America, ever. This was a rebellious group that was willing to wage their own war against such an agency, any agency that threatened their existence, their freedom, their rights, thier sovereignty. In an ideal situation, the revolution can be done without even the threat of violence; Ghandi took on the entire British empire’s hold in India this way with eventual success. However, once in a while, a group comes along that will fight back harder, rougher, and stealthier than passive resistance could ever stop. This is the most frightening idea, the idea of having to wage a war against another's own sadistic idea of freedom in order to truly be free. In the beginning of the takeover, however, when people panic, give into the fear, and loose control of who they are, they venture into dangerous places, reduced ways of living that would normally make ones hairs stand on end and blood boil. Because of this fear, people in their old lives then turn to those in power, begging for relief from their own hapless existence; it will be granted. Those in power will give in, but at a very steep price, following the very old axiom; there is no free lunch. The price of admission, the old society of freedom and accomplishment has now been removed, replaced by a slave culture; reduced to animals, sheep and their shepherd; reduced to servants, slaves and their masters. 2012 was certainly not the most romantic year ever, the years hadn't been in quite a while, but time marches on, leading the way to a whole new existence; a vague, dreary existence of euphoria and disdain, leaving nothing in its aftermath but the old, grim memories of that which used to be. Despite all the promises, however, the fear came easy, with little help needed from those in power; society led the way to its own downfall, its own demise. It was such a quick and easy change. Society in general, it seems, likes a good panic, and likes it often. Looking back just the last few centuries, many examples have come and gone. First, the great depression of the 1920’s and 30’s; the great world wars, the wars to end all wars, World Wars I and II; the cold war and Cuban missile crisis of the 1960’s; the petroleum and environmental crisis of the 1970’s; Y2K during the new millennium; terrorism in the 2000’s; the great 2012 scare; and then came the political and socioeconomic fears of the world happening around, the world to come. It was always sufficient, at the very least, to drive those paranoid enough to listen crazy. This time, no one could venture to even the darkest corners of life without being bombarded with the ‘facts’ and ‘scientific evidence’ that the Myans were right, that the world was in fact going to cease to exist in just a few short months. Or in another time, that some new theory is wrong, that in fact some new scientific breakthrough will save everybody and launch them into a newer brighter future. Or that such and such a person is no ‘terrorist,’ merely a slightly morally banked individual. Everyone was told to rest assured that those in power were in control, that they had nothing to worry about, nobody to fear. Of course, the proof of these ‘facts’ was always shoddy at best, most of it complete and utter nonsense, the kind that even the youngest child could gaze right through and mock, but anyone who dare to speak out against the ‘truth’ was suppressed and slandered almost instantly. All were trapped like the infamous rats in that great maze, conform or be killed was the unwritten rule. The Orwelian nightmare was in full swing; it is not too far out of reach of our current generation- as their predecessors foolishly believed- before the tragic days of repression and enslavement are thrown upon the land like a fire blanket, smothering everything in sight, concealing it, hiding its new found shame, never to let it be free again. It was a very frightening time, a time when logic and reason were seen as inferior to anything that felt right and popular at the time. Those who knew didn’t stand a chance against those who pretended to know for them. The lies of the new ways would pile up deeper than anyone could think to control. If society felt good about itself it was all worth it, regardless of how any of it worked out in the end or how it got there in the first place. No one cared about who they hurt, killed, or crippled; it did not matter to them as long as they got what they wanted out of it. Those in power would trample many millions before the anger and resentment took charge. It has been seen that with each new and different panic in society, those in power ‘took charge’ of society, they politely stole more and more from those lives to protect them from themselves, to ‘move society forward.’ With each new move, society as a whole jumped on board quickly and quietly, having faith in those that they had charged with protecting them, keeping them safe, never realizing what they were truly giving up in return; no free lunch. In the early 20th century came the war to end all wars, World War I. Four years of intense suffering and degradation, the clash, the pinnacle of world tyranny, without any noticing our own internal tyranny welling up from inside. The first time that the world had seen so much death and destruction, so much hate and anger. The first time that people were scared for real. It did truly seem that the world was to come to an end, sadly though, the worst was yet to come. After this war, America learned about ‘reform’ movements. This worked out okay in the beginning, but soon after led to the entitlement culture of the 1920’s, perpetuated soon after by the self-centered society that led to the Progressive movement; the idea was essentially to take away from those who- at least in the eyes of those in power- needed no more, had plenty, and give it to those who supposedly had a ‘real’ need for their free lunch, a strange Robin Hood masquerade at best. Not long after World War I came one of the greatest causes of the continuation of the United States’ Federal power grab, the great depression. Total failure of the US as well as world banking systems. The United States, along with most of the rest of the world- many of whom were dependent on our financial stability- was thrown into a state of disarray. It was here where the American society started the horrid trend of external dependence, a rather troubling ‘let someone else deal with it’ mentality that would soon be the reason for the eventual take over of essentially everything; complacency, the veritably silent killer. This was the newly created ‘needy greedy’ state of society, people’s slow turn to total and undivided dependence on the higher ups, the government, for every little shred of need in their lives. It was a desolate, despicable, and silent enslavement for them. Most people, in the last few years of freedom, did truly believe that it was the job of the Democratic Progressive party, among others, to micromanage their lives, to tell them what they could and could not do, where they could and could not go and how they could and could not get there, what they could and could not eat, and so on. This led to the welfare state that so many became accustomed to; the government giving all at the expense of the rest, a nightmare to those who know. After the great depression, the entitlement programs started, giving rise to the ‘me’ culture that most took for granted. Everybody felt that everybody around owed them something in return for nothing. Those in governmental power saw to it that everyone got what they wanted no matter what end it took to get there. Little more than twenty years later, the United States found itself in another grand war, World War II. Though by this time America was trying its hand at isolationism, the United States was pretty well forced into the war by the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7th, 1941. The United States entered the war and fought hard, teaming up with those who were considered the good guys in the fighting. The United States soon put a very abrupt and violent end to the war in August of 1945 by dropping the first two atomic weapons to ever be used in warfare. This started a very new and frightening time in world history, the atomic era. Though the war was over, many problems sill hid away, ready to pop out at a moments notice. World War II did do one positive thing for the United States, however, it put an end to the depression. In spite of this fact, the national debt had expanded almost five times, and those in power started the trend of overspending for everything, yet proclaiming that all of the countries financial problems were well under control and solved nonetheless. After the second great world war, World War II, America learned to open its borders to trade, eventually leading to dependence on others for our own goods. We learned eventually to depend on others so much that we were unable to sustain ourselves past any fairly primitive need. Everything that we bought, sold, or had anything to do with was created and shipped from elsewhere. Production soon came to a near end, essentially nothing created from within, overseas was the way to do it, or at least that is what everyone was told. Shifting political climates and the in’s and out’s of ‘free trade’ bombarding the everyday life made many unsure of this ‘fact.’ After the cold war, Americans learned distrust and fear, to fear what they did not understand, to rely on those in power to tell them what to feel, think, and do. Society learned to cower and hide away rather than stand up and fight in the end. Arbitration over show of force; pacifism over protection. The 70’s environmental movements, along with terrorism led to many new regulations and laws, most of which no one knew in their totality. So many rules, laws, and regulations in the end that it was lucky if even half were being enforced throughout the course of a day. Anyone could be a criminal in one of millions of ways, a problem that was not fully understood until these millions of laws were actually enforced. Of course, the American society failed to realize what they were giving up, they got free lunch why should they care how they got it? Most neglected the fact that in many ways, in many aspects of life, they could take care of themselves. Responsibility, though, declined with each new wave of panic; people preferring to rely on those in power to be responsible for them, to tell them what to do. A dangerous proposition that no one would truly realize until the end, until it was too late. At first, perhaps, this deference of responsibility and control was not absolutely bad. Those in power worked with it in moderation. It did not take long, however, for them to realize that all that power was indeed fun, changing and controlling the lives of many millions at no expense to them, in fact many became quite rich in the process; they wanted more! Power inevitably leads to some form of corruption in life, a rather indisputable fact, a truth to those who know. This corruption leads the drive for more power and more control. There will always be a rationalization for it, the right lie applied in the right time to make it happen, unless someone intervenes. ************** A great and powerful man once said that if you tell a lie often enough people will believe it. Make it known, make it robust, give it power, and it will gain truth in due time. That man then went on to slaughter millions of innocent people. And, in truth, for no other reason than he simply did not like them, he saw them as inferior in every way; and the most impressive part of it all, in a sadistic and perverted sort of fashion, is that he convinced many others to not like an entire race of people as well. Power of persuasion, or more simply, just power. That man was Adolph Hitler, the great ruler of Nazi Germany, a rather great and powerful nation. That is until such a great nation learned in a rather barbaric fashion that power does in fact corrupt, and that ironically the very same corruption that made a man and a nation so powerful for a time led to its own catastrophic downfall. Hitler's hatred was his ultimate corruption of power. He used his position to force his agenda ahead. Had he not been elected and placed in the position he was, never the ruler of Germany, never in charge of so many millions who would do anything he forced them to do, the holocaust would most likely have never happened. Sure, he could have made a fuss and written his book, but until someone with that particular corruption was in place to drive it forward, it would have been a mere dream for him. Many millions would still be alive, never subjected to such atrocity; unfortunately, history tells a different story, a wretched one. The unfortunate truth: many terrible things have happened under the guise of something great. Many great men have risen out of the death and destruction that lies in their devastating wake. Their lives advanced in some crude and pitiful way at the expense of countless others, people who did nothing wrong; never saw anything coming, never deserved it. A despicable proposition, but one that has been repeated throughout the ages nonetheless. Greatness, it seems throughout history, is viewed as a state of being, a condition, rather than any sort of personality trait. One is great so long as those around them are willing to live in such a state of understanding. The moment that those around a great man realize something better, the great one, at best, suddenly becomes nothing, is stripped of his status; or is at worse considered some sort of enemy, the center of everything that those around him criticize and hate. Greatness, however, can be measured one of two ways. Historically, humanistically, greatness has been measured simply by power. The more power and the more followers one can gather up, the greater one is, regardless of what they do with this power and greatness. A quantitative measurement of greatness, strictly number based. The second, and more proper method, at least in the minds of those who know, is to measure the greatness of someone by looking at what is done with their talent and power, by looking into a person rather than observing the superficial appearance of that person. It is worthwhile to note, that through this view, greatness is actually seen as a personality trait, rather than a temporary state of being. This typically is marked by someone who is compassionate, altruistic, someone who dares to care enough to do the right things in the right times. It usually takes the world a long time to credit any greatness to such a person; they are usually long dead before any positive attributes are attached to them, though not always. But such a person is a crown jewel of history, somebody worthwhile remembering. This would be the qualitative measurement of greatness. Although rarely used in this world today, if ever, this measurement can be used to see someone who can trudge the darkest depths and still come out alive and on top; someone who can drive people to do the right thing no matter how unpopular that might be. * * * Leon stopped typing, it was already almost three in the morning, he needed some sleep before the day began. He closed his computer and got up, walking to the window again, looking out and gazing. The world outside looked so normal, so right, it was still difficult for him to fully realize and accept where he- among others, though he played a major part- had brought it. He brought an entire nation to its knees and altered it, changing the course of history. What is normal anyway? he thought quietly to himself heading back to the bedroom, where his wife lay asleep in the bed, slumbering away into some sort of cognitive bliss. Leon Nelson is one who is considered great by his second, more accurate definition of greatness. He had the power and will when no one else did to set things right again; at least as right and back to normal as it would ever be in his lifetime. I have decided to post up my novel, Hands of The Ignorant in a few pieces as I know that no one will buy it. So, here it is, the first installment, the foreword of the novel, Chapter 1 soon to follow! Hope you all enjoy. Foreword This is a rather interesting work for me because I have never before written anything so massive and involved. Hands Of The Ignorant came about for me through many years of wondering. I had always wondered how the demise and fall of America would come about and what would lead up to it, what would it be like? Many before me have written many other- and far better- works on the subject, not necessarily about America’s downfall in particular, but in the end totalitarianism has no boundaries. George Orwell with 1984, Aldous Huxley with Brave New World, and Ray Bradbury with Fahrenheit 451 just to name a few. Many great works have been written mirroring these now considered classic novels and many people have been inspired by their words. There was one essential flaw- if I dare call it that- that I found in these novels, a flaw that inspired the one you are now reading. These novels all dealt with life after the fact, after the oppression and enslavement of the government had already happened. None of them explored how it happened, or the ones that did ran through it quickly and with little detail, they essentially just accept it as it is. Hands Of The Ignorant, on the other hand, hopes to capture that interim world, the lives that are lived inbetween the free world and the totalitarian one. To me it felt as if the authors previously mentioned- along with others- were scared to delve too deeply into the how of any totalitarian downfall. And to be fair, it is not easy, I had a difficult time trying to devise how it would work myself, trying to foresee all the mechanisms that would have to be put into motion in order to form a total tyranny in America. The problem is that in order to truly get it spot on, to tell the future, I would have to be a prophet, which I clearly am not. There are too many variables involved in trying to get it right, which is why I came about with the idea of a fictional America, a clone of the one we are now in, to use. 1984, Brave New World, and Fahrenheit 451 were all written as warnings. Hands Of The Ignorant is as well, simply with a focal shift on the timing of events. These novels are Americas stern warning to guard and protect freedom at all costs because once it is erased it will be gone forever. The start of this novel was simple; I remember being on a forum for gun owners and someone posted on it an interesting question. Are there any good books about the second amendment out there? Now, there are plenty of books on gun facts, for example John Lott’s More guns, Less Crime, a book laying out the now rather well known axiom that guns do in fact prevent and stop more crimes than they ever are used to commit. There are also a few other books out there that are pro second Amendment in nature, but to me never seemed to catch on to the actual essence, the true meaning, of the second Amendment. Yes, self-defense is important, and could in all likely hood be made into a fairly interesting novel, but the fact that the second Amendment is the one amendment that guarantees people the right- and more importantly, the power- to abolish any tyrannical government, this was too good of a story to pass up. So I thought right then and there, can I write a book that would accurately portray that essence, that truth? To write a book about self-defense, yes it would be in great favor of the second Amendment, but would also be rather short and perhaps more likely than not, boring. So I thought about it, and finally realized that I could do a multilevel book, a political novel of sorts, one that wholly encompassed the second Amendment and its worth. I thus sat down and began to write Hands Of The Ignorant. The origins of this novel lie in the true second Amendment of the United States constitution, which for any who do not know reads: “A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.” There are two important elements of what this says and what it means to us as Americans. Firstly, people shall have the absolute right to be armed- and to bear those arms- and no one in government will tell them otherwise. Secondly, the absolute freedom of the state- or country as we know it today- lies in the fact that people have said right. There has been much scrutiny and many attempts at ‘bending the rules’ as of late, many people wishing that the second Amendment had never been written, wishing that it could be whisked away off into history as a bad idea of mankind. The second Amendment refuses to die, however. People often poke fun at me when I tell them that one of the first things that I look for in our elected leaders- thus those I’ll vote for- is a strong stand in support of the second Amendment as it is written and implied. Many people have told me throughout the years that this is a shallow and petty view; however, nothing could be further from the truth. In reality, the second Amendment is the one amendment that protects and guarantees all of the others, in other words, the second Amendment secures our true freedom. Without a way to defend ourselves and our freedoms, the other amendments of the constitution are meaningless. In fact, the entire constitution itself becomes essentially worthless, nothing more than a well guarded parchment stored in the national archives. Once the government starts hacking away at the second Amendment, there is no more freedom; we the people, the ones who were originally placed in charge, are now slaves to those in power over us. The erosion of the second Amendment- the right to keep and bear arms- is one of the few first steps into tyranny, a fact that has been seen throughout many countries of the world, its slow erosion is also a step that this novel will follow closely. William O. Douglas once said that “...nightfall does not come at once, neither does oppression. In both instances, there is a twilight when everything remains seemingly unchanged. And it is in such a twilight that we all must be most aware of change in the air-- however slight-- lest we become the unwitting victims of the darkness.” It is the twilight that he alludes to that I will explore in this novel, this story. Hands Of The Ignorant will without doubt be an interesting read for all who dare to open it up and listen. It is not written quite like other novels of its kind nor the writing style commonly found today. It is an interesting mix of essentially my personal essay- for lack of a better term- of the state of America now and a work of fiction tracing the American downfall. This novel will also attempt to blunder down- in some sort of imaginable fashion- one of the darkest avenues of history, revolution. This story will trace the cause, beginning, and hopeful outcome of a second American revolution. It is an idea that does not cross many a mind, but it is one that is not so distant as to not be discussed and thought about in our own modern context. This will by far be the most intriguing and arduous part of this novel. To attempt to dictate and explain the downfall of the great nation of America is one thing, and can probably be predicted fairly well. However, to dictate and explain the next revolution will be, well, revolutionary. Let me at this time reassure everyone reading this, this will be only a fictional account of such a frightful idea, and that is all, my one very limited view on the potential of a second revolutionary war in America. Though not strictly an impossibility, it is an idea still not here with us quite yet. Though, if the warnings that our founding fathers gave to us and the warnings found in this novel and the ones alluded to at the beginning of this foreword are not followed, then revolution will, without doubt, become a very real possibility if America is to live on in the world. Now, let me at this point say, I am by no means any expert in the political science field or any other politically charged career field- at the time of this writing I am a college student with an interest in law enforcement and electrical engineering. I do not claim to possess any great knowledge on the future history of America- I can only hope that the things in this novel never come to pass. I do not claim to be over wise to things that other people do not know or cannot find out themselves. I do not claim to have miraculously stumbled upon some truth that others have never known, I am not a magician or fortune teller. I am however, an average person, the kind that this novel will follow, the kind it was ultimately written for. I do firmly believe that when we reach the end of the road, that point when our government is no longer able to be called a republic, when freedom is a past, distant, and dying ideal, when tyranny and oppression become the new accepted ways of the land, it will be up to the ordinary citizen, the ordinary person, to stand up and fight for freedom and to fight with their whole lives, as that is what they stand to loose if they do not. This is our warning America, it is time now to wake up, to stand up. Our founding fathers did the same for us, we must now do it for the generations to follow. Hey everyone, I am still here. Man there is a lot going on, a lot to write about. First off, it's quite interesting to see how awake the American people are slowly becoming, there are still way too many who have given in, who don't mind the continuous spying and lying. There's still a long way to go, but there are many who are starting to realize what is truly going on.
Government shutdown! Two words that have rung loud in everyone's ears the last few days and weeks. The thought and idea of the apocalypse coming true playing quickly and quietly in everyones minds. Many were so sure that the world would come to an end if the government did indeed 'shutdown.' Much to the dismay of many and to no surprise at all to a few, everything is seemingly unchanged, not perfect mind you, but still working.
To start, yes there are approximately 800,000 Federal government workers who have been furloughed and this is a horrifying time for them as they do not know what they will have to go back to or when. It is at this time that we need to band together as a nation and help one another out, these 800,000 are in dire need of help and if we can band together as a nation, it would be the biggest F you that we could give the government, show them that they can screw around all that they want and we'll be right there to fight it, to fix it. We own ourselves, we are the sovereign people, not the other way around! If we can do that much, we have won this battle, their threats of a 'shutdown' do not scare nor suede us. That being said, let's move onto this so called shutdown. What really is it? Essentially what happened was both parties refused to compromise on a budget and therefore non-essential (in some circles read unconstitutional) needs are not to be funded. Now, realistically, all it is is a scare tactic and a shady attempt to persuade the American people to place all their faith in the government and its horrid plans for us- there are at least 800,000 who are in the boat to be eager for any answer that they give no matter how extreme. We have called them out on it. We do not want to play the game, we want freedom, peace, truth, and a democratic republic! A so called 'shutdown' is just an easy way to keep the isle splitting and caste system alive and well. The good news in all of this is, there has been a mass awakening in America and many many people realize the truth and refuse to give in, even to the end of a supposed 'shutdown!' Now, before I am accused of being insensitive or uncaring to the 800,000 workers furloughed, read the second paragraph of this again and realize that I am in fact not. What I am saying is that this whole thing is concocted to bring about hatred, blame, race baiting, isle splitting, all sorts of distractions to the real issue, government spending, government misuse, government scandals and the future of our great land. Through all of this, has anything good changed? Nope, the stock market has plummeted, the dollar is still crap currency, all of Obama's unanswered scandals are still unanswered! Obamacare is still a looming threat, and one that was in great debate during this whole 'shutdown' scandal. There has been a whole lot of finger pointing and blaming going on lately. Both sides and all peoples involved are just as guilty and responsible as the rest. Please don't forget that when you point a finger at a person or party or race or belief, you have three fingers pointing straight back to you! You too, are a problem, you have bought into the lies, you are playing THEIR games, we cannot allow that. We must stand strong, we must unite as a nation, we must make this a great country once again, not one where everyone is a terrorist and everything we say or do is a terrorist act or is indicative of one! There is a lot to say about this subject as well as the many other that are of particular public interest lately, but I will finish with this. There has been a mass awakening in this country and the whole world really, the population of the world banded together and stopped world war three for crying out loud! I know that to much of my friends and family I am seen as that cooky crazy conspiracy theory whackjob and I am fairly certain that I have lost friendships over what I believe in and the truth that I find out and speak to others. That is fine, it is said that the truth will set you free, but first it will piss you off. It hurts realizing that everything that you had so much faith in, gave you everything to is a lie. War is a money making racket scheme, our very own government has sponsored so much 'terrorism,' our government funds much of the drugs that come into this country, our government lies, cheats, and steals from us. Whatever you believe about all of that, whatever you feel about me, do at the very least this one thing. Love one another, in a nation that has been bread on hatred for the last few years, that is the one thing that will make us last. There has been so much going on lately that I do not know that I can cover everything or even a few things really well. All the news and sources are so numerous that it would take a whole team to search through them all in order to find everything! That being said, I will talk briefly about the one big one that's been going on lately, Syria. Thank God we didn't go to war as we would have launched World War 3 with a few countries in the region threatening the use of nukes! Though I do not believe that we are out of the water just yet. The elites, Obama, David Cameron, as well as a few select others of the banking elite wanted a war badly. It was so much fun to watch the awakening in America, so many people realizing the truth about everything so rapidly and telling the government a big resounding "NO"! I do have a feeling that eventually Obama will get his war, claiming some such excuse as 'the weapons aren't being moved out fast enough,' or 'they're lying about the number and locations of stores.' Now, this is a word that has been used a lot throughout history, and even Syria is undergoing a supposed 'revolution.' But what revolution? Why revolution? And what does it mean for us now here in America at the crossroads where the people now find themselves? The actual definition of revolution is a sudden change. The definition most commonly associated with the term is a war that overthrows a government and instills a new one. America has already had one revolution and I have never hesitated in telling people that we are now in the second American revolution, though many mock me for this statement and fret off as if I am crazy, but am I? A now well known document tells us that "...whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness." The 'ends' are the well know life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness, a term Jefferson used in place of John Locke's property. What this means is that the government, which is of, for, and by the people is to exist only to protect these rights, and when it stops protecting these rights, in the case of America today, taking these rights away, there comes a time to overthrow the government and replace it with one that works. If it doesn't work, fix it 'til it does type sentiment. Based on that definition, the time is now and I believe it started a few years ago. Now, revolution does not necessarily have to be violent, there are non violent parts to it and I do not avdocate any violence, the elite will not go down without a fight, people will get there hands on plenty of violence in due time, but as of now it is a silent protest revolution, a war of minds and information and truth. Now the next question, since we are most certainly smack dab in the middle of the second American revolution, at what point if ever does any sort of violent uprising take place? Truth be told, there is no easy answer to that question. Obviously, if FEMA or any other wing of DHS takes to violent measures with the population- which I feel is coming in short order- we MUST fight back, that's just basic self defense and preservation. But I'm talking more on the lines of when do we become aggressors? Again, if there were an easy answer, I would not be here writing this and it would not be any big issue. My take on the issue, and please remember that I am but one opinion in the plethora of many, is that when we have exhausted all options, the begging and pleading and passive resistance fails to bring back our rights and bring out the truth and get our so called leaders to pay attention, then limited action may become necessary, it is not an idea that any one individual should ever be allowed to make and certainly not one to be made lightly, but if things keep on the way that they are, even in the midst of this massive awakening that has been going on, it is a real near possibility. As I said in my book, "Hands of The Ignorant" violent overthrow is an idea not here with us quite yet I don't believe, but when one looks at the possibilities it is not a non existent one. The government knows it too, why do you think that they have been buying up mass amounts of ammo, perhaps to keep it off the market, perhaps to fight back, most likely both. Also why so called 'assault weapons' are so much fought about, as these weapons may not be used in many crimes, but the government knows that these are the most efficient weapons that citizens can use to fight tyrants! Our time is now folks, the revolution has already begun, which side do you want to be on? Only you can choose. Ok, fine I'll chime in, I was gonna let this blow over since actual important things like a very near yet pointless pending war with Syria are happening all around, but this one has been dragged in over the line, as someone was sure to eventually do!

Secondly, this article, which I am sure is near and dear to Anne Theriault's heart is frankly as far from truth as it gets. Cyrus' performance was awful for the EXACT reasons that people say it was, there was no hidden mystery to it, though at least the illuminati people aren't chiming in yet! I do not know where this whole race thing came from as of late, probably Martin/ Zimmerman, though it was around before even that, but that is all this article is, more race baiting that no one needs and is untrue and unfounded. The article portrays Cyrus as some sort of super selective racist, whatever that is. It makes claims that Cyrus is somehow picking and choosing what parts of the african american race she likes, namely the sexual aspects, and leaving the others as racist against blacks, a little contradictory is it not? This article attempts to portray black women as super sexual beings, citing rachet culture, the beauty of naked black women. Honestly what I got out of this article is that blacks are overly sexual creatures hiding in the shadows and held captive by the likes of powerful whites like Cyrus. That's it, that's what the whole article was about, that's what it wanted us to get. Background dancers have always been the object of the desires of the lead singer- or at least the producers in charge of the whole operation- therefore this is nothing new. Just because one happened to be black and used as a prop on stage- live theater is definitely nothing new- means nothing, it's not racist, I can guarantee you that this article would not have been so potent if it were a white background dancer! While this is a post about the senseless race baiting that's been going on lately, I will glance over the idea of the overt sexuality of modern life. Now, what people do in their own private homes and what they feel about themselves is their deal, I'm not here to tell anybody how to live or think or feel or act! Even if I wanted to I could not do it, only people can change themselves. That being said, we reap what we sow. While Cyrus' performance was sexually over the top- in my and obviously many others opinions- it's the culture that she's been brought up in, we've all been permeated in, did anyone NOT see this coming? Was her "performance" really a cry for attention? Or was it what she thought was right to do as it's something that's been done before and something that she would have grown up with? Is it that unreasonable to say that she was pressured into doing what she did, whether she wanted to or not? While there are certainly a lot of variables in this, those are absolutely questions that need to be considered. Let's start with gas prices... they've been going down here in southern CA. Now, I've noticed that prices only drop as far as they have been when something big is about to happen, remember post 9-11, right before we invaded, gas plummeted! Now, I know correlation is not causation, at least not on the surface. But remember, there are people running this facade, banking elite who have the power to drop prices and who are also dictating what wars to fight! Go ahead and call me crazy, but look at 9-11, all of the uncertainties that have since come to light! That being said, what is coming? While I am no prophet (and also not one of the elite) my guess would be what's been in the news quite a bit lately, even though no one paid any attention to it until supposed gas attacks took lives of children. That would be the Syrian controversy, and the U.S. Government supported Free Syrian Army (FSA) that's behind most of the violence, including the gas attack. Obama said earlier this year that if Syria used any sort of chemical weapon they would cross a 'red line' and he and the UN would step in with military backing. Well, lo and behold, there was a supposed gas attack, now Obama and the elitists at the UN have their excuse to invade Syria, and gas prices plummet to make people happy and distract them from the coming war. It's madness, and it's at all of our doorsteps. But what's really behind this Syria thing? Who are the FSA? What role does the U.S. government play in any of it? To start, the most trouble began in 2011, when protesters protested against president Bashar al-Assad's rule, they wanted him gone. Somewhere in the mix, the Syrian army was called out to quell protests and fired upon the crowds, killing many and injuring many more. It's been a downhill ride ever since. The FSA started probably with good intentions but has since evolved into a cluster bomb of insanity. Composed of defecting Syrian soldiers who refuse to fire upon civilian uprisings as well as volunteers from the citizenry, it naturally lends itself to trouble. Unofficially, and you must do some in depth research to find this out, the U.S. supports the FSA with weapons and most likely monetary backing as well and the CIA no doubt carries out objectives with extremists in the group, namely Al-Qaeda operatives. Why would the U.S. use Al-Qaeda? Well, why not? They used it for 9-11, letting Osama run around for years before that fateful day, so it wouldn't be the first time they've used militant terrorist groups. Secondly, it's not the first time in history that false flag attacks have been staged to give countries an excuse to run in and take control, look them up, operation AJAX, which the CIA recently admitted to again, though it's been known for years. Operation Gladio, Operation Northwoods, which was thankfully never carried out. And the list goes on and on, these so called Syrian government uprisings are nothing more than staged false flags that are being used to give the U.S., with the blessing of the UN, a reason to invade Syria. Whatever cause it may be, and it WILL surface, us truth seekers MUST make sure of it, I can say that the FSA is now grown a bit unruly and out of control and the U.S. supported them the whole way! So, while people will enjoy cheaper gas, do not forget the lies that have been told- Benghazi comes to mind, it was an arms deal gone bad- don't forget the lies that are being used by these power hungry elite's to justify their takeover of Syria, we will fight them all the way. The lies must stop, the spying must stop, the arming of terrorists must stop. Be informed, the second American revolution has already begun, which side do you want to be on? -PK Today’s post is quite philosophical as you’ll see in a minute, as I believe that knowledge is the key to success in this revolution. In order to have knowledge, one not only needs a way of obtaining information but also a base or a way of processing this information. The wealth of knowledge out there is vast as we all well know, but one needs to be able to sort through it and see the truth and know what the truth is, where it comes from.
The object of morality is one that will have people debating for years to come, my personal belief is that the creator God of the universe has implanted good in creation, a small part of which choose to turn away from it and pull humanity with it. I firmly believe that humans know good from bad and thus have a choice as to which path to follow. Now for a little philosophy: In the course of human history, there are certain events that with due cause perpetuate themselves, then repeat, the tale of a never ending loop, the now seemingly antiquated ideal that those who do not know or understand the past are doomed to repeat it. Each event starts innocently enough, originating as nothing more than the spark of an idea, a thought, but it takes little time at all for thoughts and ideas to become reality, to life up to the reality that the dream once was, to become actions. In dealing with the actions, or events, people have devised two greatly broad systems, or groups, by which they judge and deal with events; they caste themselves into two wholly different classes of pondering. Both groups are equally important to the end goal of life but both function in completely different ways. Both groups are a significant factor in moving society forward, but both can be just as dangerous to reverting society into a realm of sheer terror and dissolution. The first group is the most curious, they attempt to understand the why, what causes a person to have a thought and when and why that thought becomes an action. This is a group consisting of philosophers and scientists, the philosophers giving a grounding foundation of thoughts that dictate the scientific realm of possibility, science always being split into schools of thought based on backing philosophy. This group is powerful in that it seeks and finds answers. This is the group that steps back in search of reasons, it is slow to act out but when it does it does so with much ferocity and with a popular self authoritarian backing. This is a group that is also dangerous as inevitably this is the group that eventually asks itself if and how it can control the thought process that dictates these historical events, it seeks to gain control and believes that it can. Once this point is reached, this group is no longer able to step back and see things as they are, it looses objectivity and it begins to dictate itself by the thoughts that its members believe to be right. This is where this group will begin to fail society as a whole and eventually lead to its collapse. This group is also dangerous in that the average citizen of society believes this group to have some sort of unique and secret understanding of the world and therefore is willing to follow the group to the ends of the earth for what they say is right, to help perpetuate their own possibly flawed thoughts- for once the objectivity is gone, there is no reasonable way to detect flaws. There is hope however, for a fallen group of this type. It is possible, and has been seen throughout history, that eventually, a new group of philosophers and scientists- again bringing objectivity to the system- arises from the once dormant society and begins to analyze the thoughts of the original but now out of balance original group. Through these enlightenments, societies can course correct and become focused again on making the world itself great as opposed to a small group of corrupt individuals. The second group contrasts itself to the first in its pragmatism. Though this group is less philosophical or scientific, it is an important group in the maintenance of natural order and control. This group has been labeled throughout history as sheepdogs, warriors, rough men. Whatever the preferred nomenclature, they are a group that uses strict force to tackle actions and events head on as opposed to trying to gain an understanding about them at their core. This group is important in that it can, and with haste, prevent any detrimental actions from heading forth and can also inspire good actions to move forward quickly. This is a group that is able to understand life in general, not through analysis but through something more spiritual, God Himself probably dictates this group in a strong fashion, though not directly through actions, but through reality, the state of being, the human condition. This is a group that knows right from wrong and will fight for it and quickly turn on those who are the perpetrators of wrongdoings. The only natural downfall to this group is their direction of what is right and wrong. This group is dangerous as it can be mislead. Naturally, leaders will form, and it is possible to get leaders who do wrong and convince this group that they are doing right. This is the group that has the power to destroy, and if led wrong will do so, bringing society down with them. This is a group that will be quick to take orders but very slow in understanding or questioning them. This is a group that must have self control else it will end itself quickly, with little to no impact on the rest of society. Again, when a group like this gets out of control and fights for wrong, society will lend itself members to create another group the stop the now corrupted group from wrongdoing. Now, it would be wrong to assume that these two groups are indifferent and completely separated from one another. The truth is, what one group learns the other will quickly pick up on and react to. In reality, the philosophers and scientists will influence and help the warriors and fighters and vice versa. It can be a symbiotic relationship with little clashing at a academic level. The danger of this system is, however, that it can be used for good as well as for bad and history shows that corruption eventually sneaks its way into the good of life. The two groups work in a cycle, thoughts, ideas and then actions and events. Both groups doing what they do about it until corruption sets in, then new groups rise from the ashes of the old ones. It is a sometimes vicious cycle that seems to have a sort of feedback mechanism intrinsic to it to keep the whole of society from moving to one extreme or another, but this all begs the question, is there another way? Is there something more? Who gets to dictate freedom, right from wrong? While the philosophy of this will have people stirring and talking till the end of the earth, I believe that there may be a simpler way. I believe that every person has within them the true essence of right and wrong, we as humans know what we should and shouldn’t do to each other. Yes, there is evil out there and yes evil can and does take over certain individuals in the world, but I’ve always held the belief that good always far outweighs evil and there is still more good than evil in the world, in the end good wins either way! I only implore that people know which group they fall into and that they do their best to make it right, to fight for freedom, to stand up to the wrong in this world, the basis of which lies within each and every one of us! Anyhow, here's one that everyone loves, gun control! Gun control is a very multi faceted topic and I am therefore going to have to limit myself somewhat, there are so many points to be made I cannot make them all in one post. I am not going to cover all of the statistics as any simple google search will give you what you are looking for. An armed society is a safe, low crime and polite society, that's where I'll leave it on that point, the studies, the, stats, they speak for themselves. Being what the ignorant call a conspiracy theorist, I am choosing to focus on the political aspects of gun control, an area that is a sometimes awkward road to travel, awkward merely in what you will discover about the government that I once had so much trust in. As Thomas Jefferson once said "The beauty of the Second Amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it [from us]." Many, sadly, will never fully understand what this means, and many more will never choose to accept it. Silence, conformity and stagnation are the deadly ends of freedom and liberty. Most people find it difficult to believe and accept when I tell them that tyranny has already come to America, those of us who know that fact and attempt to inform the public about it are immediately slandered and called crazy, we're labeled as dangerous kooks that people should avoid altogether. In many memos that have been put out now, we are even called homeland terrorists, we are terrorists for standing up for our rights and liberties. I do not personally mind the name calling and nomenclature and ad homenim attacks as when the worse of the tyrannical rule comes to pass, no one will remember me for it and they will not be laughing about it either. That being said, we'll start with this: the true measure of a tyrant is popularity, no tyrant in history was unpopular, the minute they loose popularity and support is the minute that all that they have worked to control crumbles around them, many empires and tyrants have come and gone in this fashion. Everything that a tyrant does must come from popular support and must be implemented in a way that is popular. There are many aspects to this including: maintaining control of a societies thoughts (yes this happens even in America, MKUltra, government run education, wake up and find it out for yourself!) It also includes convincing a society that they chose it for themselves and for their own benefit and good; but, and the most important item in this discussion, it includes the need to prevent any backlash or fighting back by the society against the takeover, either up frontly or should they ever come to their senses and change their minds. Anybody who has studied gun control throughout history knows that many hundreds of millions of people have died needlessly under government rule, a process called democide. One of the first steps in controlling a population is to disarm it so as to have no real resistance to any new laws or regulations, no matter how harsh- think Hitlers eugenics laws and practices. Once the guns are gone, the gloves always come off, history repeats itself and soon people are being killed for any reason or no reason at all by the governments which they believed so much in, the very same one that claimes it would protect them. Now if we look to America, we see a nation that is well armed and is a somewhat hefty threat to a tyrannical takeover. I do firmly believe that the first and second amendments will be the last to go and not without a lot of fighting; the rest went no problem, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, eighth, ninth and tenth have been done away with for a while now, the police state well underway. The first and second, however, are two that the people most dearly hold onto. This is interesting, as I have told people for years now, that the second amendment is the most important amendment of all as it protects the rest, low and behold, it might not be totally safe from being abolished, but which of the first ten amendments is still holding its shaky ground? With items like the patriot act and patriot act II as well as the NDAA and now the threat of the U.S. signing the UN small arms treaty, the second amendment is in for the fight of its life. We cannot let it be defeated, we cannot allow it to be lost! Now, to get back on track, we must look at the importance of the different aspects of gun control in a political light. Obviously, and the globalists here in America have no shame in it, they do not hide this fact, and have on many occasions stated this outright (look up Diane Feinstein's frightening speech about getting 51 votes to ban guns) the tyrant eventually wants ALL guns banned; yes, even your simple, sweet, single shot .22lr. DO NOT be fooled into thinking that they only want those 'scary' guns that you've seen on the news banned, they want them all, and they are completely up front about it! We've seen a lot of hoopla about so called 'assault weapons' throughout the years, with no real definition of what an 'assault weapon' is other than a list of accessories that somehow make a rifle more dangerous that it is without them. This is a classic move, an agenda that makes no sense on its own (and many people know this fact) but they cover it with cute phrases like 'we need to save all the children who die from assault weapons,' or 'it's for our good, these are only used to kill mass amounts of people quickly,' which we know to be absolutely false, but the average TV watching American will nod in agreement without missing a beat, they've been ingrained to never question that authority, and so the shouting for banning these 'assault weapons' continues. Do not forget, Hitler surrounded himself with children as he signed laws banning guns in Germany, much as Obama did after the Sandy Hook government planned shooting! But what is the real reason for any ban of 'assault weapons?' My belief, as it is many others, I am in no way shape or form the originator of this, is that these so called 'assault weapons' are the most effective way to fight off tyranny, the most effective way to fight off the FEMA troops that will be using the same weapons as the American citizen to attempt to disarm them. The truth is that 'assault weapons' are used in well under 1% of all gun crimes, in fact, every study done has shown that the assault weapon bans that were tried in 1994 and the continuing one in CA do absolutely NOTHING! So, why push so damn hard for these bans and eventual confiscations? A tyrant does not want any weapon in the hands of citizens that could effectively stop him from rising to power, that's why! Now, it's no secret that Obama has been the firearm salesman of the year for almost six years now, people rushing out and buying guns and ammo with a ferocity never seen before after his election, because they know what is coming, what was started under Bush and will continue until it is destroyed by the American citizenry. However, this presents a problem to the tyrant, people are not buying into the lies, people are not going to easily give up guns, so now the gloves are off, the revolution has silently begun under everyone's noses. It is now a silent war, using feckless legislation like concealed carry laws and open carry bans, and registration laws, and new ammo laws, these are the workaround tactics that are used, still with a dwindling crown screaming that it's for the better good! One of the most recent, blatant and defensive attacks was the department of HOMELAND security buying nearly 2 BILLION rounds of ammunition, a lot of that hollow point ammunition (a violation of the geneva convention in warfare!) Anyone care to venture a guess why an agency that focuses solely on the HOMELAND, nothing abroad, is stocking up on ammunition, and why it is violating the geneva convention in doing so? Aside from the obvious, draining the market of ammunition for the civilian consumer to buy, could it be because it is planning on using this ammunition IN THE US, hence the reason for the geneva violation, and against its own citizens, hence the HOMELAND title! Wake up people, tyranny has already been in America for quite some time, the second amendment is well under attack, and if we do not resist (again at this time I advocate a non violent approach, the time will come for violent resistance) we will loose it and be subjugated to the New World Order, and yes that is real too, it's been said with more frequency since Bush senior! The tyrannical rule of the banking elite knows that the American people no longer buy the lies that banning guns is a good thing. My guess, and I hope to God that I am wrong, is that they are going to skip the formalities that other countries have gone through (registration and the like) and move right into forced confiscations. We saw from the actions of the National Guard during hurricane Katrina and from a few other isolated incidents that Americans posed no resistance at all to gun confiscations, they simply let soldiers march right in and take their guns, not one American stood up and fought them about it. Confiscations are going to start and my guess is soon. We cannot allow it, I've told many people the day confiscations are authorized is the day that my death certificate has been signed as I will fight to the death for liberty and my freedoms, I REFUSE to be a slave and you should too! Wake up, tell your friends, tell your family, tell your neighbors, we are still in the infowar stage of this revolution, maybe, just maybe, and with a lot of support, we can stop this madness before it truly begins! America is the first country in history that has built in a way to prevent, suppress, and if need be forcibly stop tyranny, perhaps it's time to cash in on the values that our founders paid in for us! |
